How to get it

Simply place your order and pay online then pick your bread up from my back garden bakery!

I bake to order twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays. Prior to each baking day loaves will be available to order on the homepage of this website. Because of the long, slow process required to make sourdough bread, orders will close 36 hours beforehand (ie. order by 9pm on Monday for Wednesday bread and by 9pm on Wednesday for Friday bread).

The Bread by Neil micro bakery in Back Hill, Ely will be open for you to pick up your loaves between 8.30am and 2.30pm on Wednesday and between 8.30am and 6pm on Friday each week. Full address and contact details, in case you run into any unexpected events, will be sent in the order confirmation email.

Please note – I’ll be closing early, at 2.30pm, on Friday this week (7 June). If you’ll be coming to pick up your bread after this time don’t worry I can leave it in a safe place for you to collect when you’re ready.

You will also be able to find me at Ely Farmers’ Market on the second Saturday of each month.
