Description
Just like my classic bun, except that this one is stuffed with homemade mincemeat instead of the normal filling, and finished with a brown sugar glaze. If you feel like getting all puddingy then a generous serving of custard goes surprisingly well with this one.
Note – my homemade mincemeat doesn’t feature suet, alcohol, or mixed peel but it does include lots of real fruit and festive spices such as cinnamon and star anise.
Ingredients: organic white wheat flour, organic butter, organic milk, eggs, caster sugar, organic stoneground white wheat flour, apple, raisins, sultanas, currants, cranberries, demerara sugar, dark muscovado sugar, apple juice, orange zest and juice, lemon zest and juice, sea salt, mixed spice, cinnamon, star anise.
