A savoury bun filled with onion tomato masala and topped with cheddar and Deggi Mirch chilli. Gently spicy, cheesy, and fabulous when warmed or toasted to bring the flavours to life.
I can trace the origin of this bun back to my lockdown obsession with recreating my favourite Dishoom curries while they were otherwise inaccessible, and the key to many of those recipes is their onion tomato masala. So when I decided to create a savoury bun there was only one place to go…
